RICHARD K. DePONTE, born in Framingham, Massachusetts, was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1987. In addition, he is admitted to the United States District Court, Districts of Arizona and Nebraska. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, New Hampshire in 1987. Prior to that, Mr. DePonte graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology (magna cum laude) in 1976 and received a Masters of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Arizona State University in 1980. Practice areas include personal injury, civil litigation, municipal law, criminal law and DUI defense. As a long time member of the Rotary Club of Ahwatukee Foothills in Phoenix, Mr. DePonte has served as club secretary and president, and is now a member of its Board of Directors. He recently was elected to the Board of Directors of the Ahwatukee Foothills YMCA.
